U11A And B Girls Cricket v Bilton Grange

U11 A
A great first game from the U11A Girls team who started their game in field. Some solid bowling saw the team take 2 wickets and great fielding skills kept the run count low. In bat pupils showed confidence, moving towards the ball to attack the shot, seeing us reach the boundary numerous times to take the win.
  • Bowler of the game - Maisie
  • Batter of the game - Sofie
U11 B
A very positive first match for the Girls U11B team. Excellent bowling from Crescent prevented Bilton Grange from scoring freely and gave them confidence going in to bat. Some lovely  striking from batter of the match Leela and quick singles from Roisin C kept the score moving along and resulted in a comfortable win.

Well done all.
  • Batter of the game - Leela
  • Bowler of the game - Nora

U9 Cricket Foundation Derby With Crackley Hall

U9 Boys
A fantastic opening game for the U9 team. Starting in the field we saw some fantastic wickets, confident catches and dynamic fielding. Stepping up to bat we opened well with good communication for some quick runs and continued to step up confidently to achieve a number of boundary balls.

Lots of positives and some areas to develop prior to the next match, but pleased to take the win by 8 runs and 1 wicket.

U9 Girls
The girls took to the field for their first match of the season. They batted first and grew in confidence as the match progressed with some lovely striking of the ball. The bowling was accurate and fielding urgency improved, helping us to take a handful of wickets late on in the innings. These proved crucial in this tight match as Crescent won by 2 runs.
