A BIG THANK YOU to the forty-five families that took part in The Big Plastic Count last month.

Greenpeace and Everyday Plastic launched an investigation to understand the scale of the plastic use in the UK. We have participated in their 2024 Big Plastic Count. Please see here for the overall results for our school. The families counted the different types of plastics at home for a period of seven days and recorded if they binned them or recycled them. 

Our results are being included as a national picture of how much plastic is actually recycled and trying to change the mindset on how we manage plastic in the UK including exporting it to other countries.

Crescent School is taking part in the Big Battery Hunt again. A national competition for schools to collect and recycle batteries.
