Headmaster's Message

Dear Parents and Friends of the School

With the end of term now upon us, I would like to share with you every best wish from us all here at Crescent for a happy and peaceful Christmas and New Year.

Christmas celebrations were brought to a fitting finale this week with a combination of our festive assembly and parties in the classroom. We have also recognised the many achievements of the children over the term, with the reports that have been sent home to you earlier in the week, as well as in the Celebration Assembly on Tuesday.

I have a mountain hiking trip planned for the next two days with my son James, as we are heading off to Snowdonia, or Eyri to give its Welsh name. There’s some interesting weather in store for us by the looks of it, so I might need to keep a firm grip on my hat.

Whatever you and your family have planned over the holiday, I hope it goes smoothly and I look forward to seeing you and the children all back safe and sound in school on Monday, 8 January 2024.

Have a great Christmas everyone, and Happy New Year

Joe Thackway
