Friendship Circle

Members of 3Y are invited every week to play in the Friendship Circle. We use it as a time to talk about how our week has been, what kind things have other people done for us or what have we done that was kind to another person. Jez the Jigsaw Piece is there to help us sometimes. We also play games where you need to communication with each other and there is a lot of laughter! Sometimes children who do not usually 'hang out' together find that they enjoy playing together and will continue on the playground when friendship group is ended for the day. We hope next term that Friendship Circle will be outside in the sunshine rather than in the Horton Centre.

Eve Hamuza From Malawi 'Visits' 4M Geography

Class 4M had a virtual visitor to round off their Bwengu Topic this term. Eve was born in southern Malawi but has worked in the Bwengu area where she grew up. She shared her experiences of daily life in the city and rural areas of the country. Children were able to ask her questions and found out new information as well as reinforcing their previous studies.

Class 4M are looking forward to seeing you on Monday for their charity games morning starting at 8.15am on the field.

Class 6W Mother's Day Cards

It was lovely to see Class 6W thinking about what they were grateful for, writing their ideas down on the petals of their handmade hyacinths.
