In the Celebration Assembly on Tuesday 18 December, the housepoint winners for each class were awarded with a book token for first and second place. 

Congratulations to the following children:

St David's house was the overall winner for the housepoint trophy.

Well done to all.

In the end of term Celebration Assembly before Christmas we awarded School Promise certificates to recognise the children’s excellent behaviour as good friends, good learners or good citizens. 

Congratulations go to:

• Reception Class - Alex for always being kind and gentle to his classmates
• Class I - Maisie for being kind and gentle with beautiful manners
• Class II - Archie for being a friend to everyone during his time at Crescent
• Class III - Charlotte for being a fantastic team player, looking out for her friends and welcoming visiting students into Class III
• Class IV - Ollie for being kind, considerate and caring to other children
• Class VF - Kyla-Mae for being kind and caring
• Class VY - Phoebe for showing determination and resilience in all her lessons; working hard and trying her best

  For being a Good Learner and keeping the School Promise:

• Reception Class - Sophia for showing great resilience in her learning
• Class I - Albert for always working hard and giving his best
• Class II - Ellie for her consistency of effort and output in writing
• Class III - Rosina for making progress in maths and English; especially in her reading
• Class VF - Isabelle S for always working hard and trying her best
• Class VI - Lucy for always working and trying her best

For being a Good Citizen and keeping the School Promise:

• Class IV - Amy for being an outstanding role model for all children and for always having a kind word for others
• Class VY - Joseph for being responsible, respectful and tolerant; making every effort to be inclusive in his work and play
• Class VI - Sam S for keeping safe and being responsible when working with younger children

Thank you to Albert, Archie, Asha, Eddie, Euan, Joe, Katherine and Nora, for their good conduct, good manners and respect for others during lunchtimes. The supervisors decided that you are this half term's recipients of Top Table invitations.

We are pleased to announce that the long awaited Crescent School tracksuit for Classes III - VI will be available to view in the Library on Tuesday 8 January and on Monday 14 January from 3.45pm - 4.45pm. 

As with the current tracksuit it is an optional item of uniform but we think that you will agree having a water resistant extra layer is a definite positive at this time of year. 

If you currently have the existing tracksuit this will run alongside the new one so please do not feel that you need to replace it.

The tracksuits bottoms start at £22.00, jackets at £35.00 and for convenience they are sized by age.  You will be able to take them away from the fitting sessions or alternatively can send your order to nicolabrowne@princethorpe.co.uk and your order will then be delivered to Crescent School.  

We look forward to seeing you in the School Library.

Parents are asked to be vigilant when reading emails relating to the payment of school fees and any other items to the Foundation.

We continue to receive reports regarding spam emails being sent to parents of independent schools asking them to pay future fees to a ‘new’ school bank account.

Please be advised there has been no change to the bank details of either Princethorpe College, Crackley Hall or Crescent and there is no intention to make any changes in the foreseeable future. Any electronic notification that appears to be from any of the Foundation schools changing these details may be fraudulent.

Our bank details are available on the Parent Bills, the Online Payment Portal and for Crescent in the Crescent School Information Booklet 2018 – 2019, and only those details should be used.

Please do not hesitate to contact me or my colleagues in the Bursary if you are have any doubts about the correct details or indeed if anything appears suspicious.
