Good Citizen is of course a significant strand of the Crescent school promise so please keep sending to me, by email (awebb@crescentschool.co.uk), any examples of your children going above and beyond in this aspect during this lockdown period, so that we can include them in a section celebrating this in the Courier each Friday.
In these times when we have spent more time together the kind and helpful nature of Akaal has really shone. He does the usual helping around the house and helping with chores but he has been an exceptional big brother to his little sister, Keevie. He helps her put her shoes on, helps her take her helmet on and off, tries to teach her to read and helps her with letters and numbers, he takes her to the bathroom and he's been so encouraging and supportive.
Well done Akaal we are proud of you.
Good Citizen Maryn has been doing the shopping and delivering it safely for her aunt who is ill at the moment.

Rory and his Mum found a Baby Jackdaw alone in the road, they took it to the Vets who arranged for it to be taken to a Sanctuary.
