Last Friday 3 November the school was visited by Image Musical Theatre, a company who specialise in performing participatory children’s classics to primary school audiences. Their philosophy is that ‘bringing a story to life helps encourage children to read’.
The company performed The Selfish Giant to an enthusiastic audience. Class VI teacher, Sarah Lowe, commented, “Crescent children very much enjoyed participating in the production, whether through acting, singing or simply joining in the actions. All this fun and the children are learning a lesson too.”
