Collection From Co-Curricular Clubs Early

We are having a number of parents asking if they can collect at alternative times to the set end of a co-curricular club. As much as we like to be accommodating I am afraid after half-term we cannot meet these requests due to the logistics of not having staff to safely hand over your child to their adult. Most clubs have one adult running them.

If you wish to remove a child from a club due to this protocol then please let Mrs Tucker know and she will update our records.

Thank you for your understanding on this matter.

Winter Uniform To Be Worn After Half Term

After the half term break all children are expected to be in full winter uniform. Parents can use their discretion as to whether blazers or the school coat are more appropriate for the weather at the time.

When it does get really cold we do need all the children to have their coats in school so we can make a decision on outdoor break times.

The School Shop is closed over half term.  Uniform items can be ordered via the link below and will be delivered to school during the first week back.

Year 6 Half Term Work

As 6W enter the final phase of preparation for Entrance Exams, we are sending home a wallet of work to provide continued support through the holidays.

All instructions and expectations are on instructions from Ms Forth and me in their folder, that they were given on Thursday. It is parental choice whether you would like your child to use the work provided.

We do also believe the children should have a rest over the half-term, as they have been working so hard.

Year 5 Half-Term Reading

Class 5F have been given a book this week to read over half-term. The book is called Goth Girl And The Ghost Of A Mouse by Chris Riddell, we have started it in class but I would like it to be completed over half-term.

Please feel free to share this book as a family, listen to it on an audiobook or discuss it with your child if they are reading it independently. It will need to be completed by the time we return to school as we will be doing some work on it on our return.
