U9 Boys' Hockey Vs Crackley

On Thursday, storm Dudley could not blow away the U9 boys' excitement as they prepared for their final hockey match of this half term against Crackley Hall.

The A-team flew around the pitch like tornados, tackling strongly and confidently, preventing Crackley from leaving their half of the pitch, but they were unable to capitalize on this possession.

Their excellent play made the team talk a breeze with just a few pointers needed to improve. Eager to score the boys attacked swiftly and fantastic link up play between Oliver, Sam B and Alex T lead to a strong ball into the circle which was pounced on by Timi for the first goal.

The second came from quick reactions from Sam and lovely positioning from Shiv for a classy goal blasted into the net from the top of the circle. More goals followed as the pressure mounted with Remi, Edward G-H, Alex G and Albert preventing Crackley from making progress into Crescent's half.

A very impressive team performance with a final score of 5-0, with goals from Timi (x3), Sam B and Shiv.
