Grace Grows For Gold

Congratulations to Year 4 pupil, Grace, who has just been awarded joint first prize in the Children’s Category in Rugby Borough Council’s 2021 Rugby in Bloom awards.

The theme for Rugby in Bloom 2021 was Growing for Gold – and Grace certainly did!

Grace grew a variety of yellow and golden vegetables, including golden beetroot and yellow carrots and don’t they all look delicious.

The judges made a surprise visit to see her super colourful vegetables and fruit back in July and the winners have just been announced.

A huge well done to green-fingered Grace – you are excellent inspiration for us all!

Edward's Goalie Saves

Edward is the goalkeeper for Bilton Ajax Blaze U9s. On Saturday the team progressed to the next round of the Cup after a 2-0 away win over Sporting Club Aspire.  Edward had to make several great saves to keep a clean sheet and was awarded Man of the Match.

Well done Edward.
