Second Place For George In Tennis Challenge

Crescent School’s pupils have been enthusiastically taking part in the CSW School Games Virtual Challenge. Organised by Think Active, the Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire School Games Virtual Challenge is an exciting programme of sporting competition running throughout the summer term.

Week 1 focused on Athletics Skills whilst Week 2 was all about Cricket Skills and in both weeks Crescent pupils’ hard work helped the school win the Primary School Participation Award.

After the half term week, Week 3 concentrated on Tennis and featured two skill challenges, the Target Throw and the Switch. 2255 participants took part from 171 schools and the school was delighted that this week George from Class 6W, took 2nd place in the Key Stage 2 tennis results.

A huge well done to everyone who took part and do get involved with Week 4, the Dance Skill Challenge.
