Amy's Cricketing Challenges

Before the end of Lent Term Amy in Class 5F found out that due to her strong performance throughout Warwickshire Winter training, she had been selected for the U11 Girls County Age Group Squad to play matches against other counties throughout the Summer.

Obviously due to Covid 19 she has not been able to play, but is still hoping there will be some county cricket before the end of the season.

Training with Warwickshire has been continuing remotely in the garden with live coaching through Microsoft Teams, weekly webcasts with famous cricketers and regular masterclass videos.

The cricketers have also had weekly garden challenges, so far covering leg spin, batting, throwing and catching. They even have the option to try a weekly fun challenge competition, this week is juggling with 4 balls!

Either way Amy is doing her best to keep on top form ready for when the cricket season resumes!

Well done Amy and keep on training!
